Job Description

EgyBell is hiring a Sr. Operations and Maintenance Officer for a multinational financial organization.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Operations Management:

  1. Oversee and coordinate all maintenance and facilities operations.
  2. Lead efforts to enhance building infrastructure.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant audits.
  4. Maintain and enhance the operational standards.
  5. Provide professional operations and maintenance services to ensure a reliable, safe, healthy, and conducive work environment..
  6. Develop and implement an O&M strategy and plans.
  7. Oversee the complete range of contractual, technical, management, and commercial aspects for the O&M services of the bank building and its systems.
  8. Manage the execution of all maintenance types: planned, operational, unplanned/reactive, and emergency..
  9. Coordinate with the Bank’s Helpdesk to ensure 24/7 response and resolution of faults and requests, employing qualified engineers and technicians.
  10. Ensure compliance with the Bank’s procurement policies when selecting and contracting O&M service providers.
  11. Directly communicate and coordinate with tenants over lease agreements, renewals, and services.
  12. Deal with the utmost level of confidentiality and discretion with the following documents:

– Personnel Data: • Access to information about bank staff.

– Contractual Documents: • Information regarding contracts with service providers, lease agreements with tenants, and negotiations.

– Financial Information: • Budget details.

– Technical Specifications: • Details about the bank’s systems and equipment.

– Building Security Details.

– Audit and Compliance Reports.

 

Space Management and Engineering Projects:

  1. Manage space planning to accommodate staff changes and organizational needs.
  2. Implement strategic space management plans.
  3. Oversee engineering projects.

Contractors Management:

  1. Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with contractors..
  2. Manage contractor performance, including imposing penalties for deviations from agreed service levels.
  3. Supervise all service delivery aspects from various contractors and subcontractors.

 

Support and contribute to the bank’s ESG Goals:

Risk Management and Compliance:

  1. Adhere to pre-agreed risk management plans.
  2. Propose capital improvements to enhance the building’s functionality and fitness.

Team Management

  1. lead, develop, guide and evaluate a skilled team.
  2. Serve as a technical advisor to all teams.

Others: 1. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 6 – 10 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any related field.
  • Excellent English level.
  • Basic French proficiency.
  • (CFM).
  • (PMP®).
  • (CMRP).
  • (LEED AP).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
  • Proficient in Auto cad 2, BMS and CMMS.
  • Solid knowledge of different building systems.
