Job Description
Egybell is hiring a Treasury Accountant “FX / Investment Background” for a Qatari company located in l the “Al Obour” – Cairo
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily cash balances and prepare forecasts and manage bank accounts and relationships.
- Process payments and receipts accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and negotiate banking fees and services.
- Resolve banking issues and disputes.
- Implement and maintain effective cash management controls.
- Monitor FX rates and manage currency exposures and execute FX transactions and prepare FX reports.
- Ensure compliance with FX regulations in Egypt.
- Manage short-term investments in line with company policy.
- Track investment performance and report results.
- Handle debt obligations and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor debt covenants and ensure compliance.
- Prepare treasury reports and financial analysis and monitor key treasury metrics and identify trends.
- Assist in developing treasury policies and procedures and support internal and external audits.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ Years of professional experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and treasury management practices.
- Knowledge of Egyptian banking systems and regulations.
- Familiarity with financial software and treasury management systems.
