Job Description

EgyBell is hiring Head of Sales for a leading insurance company located in Maadi

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in life, medical, motor, and general insurance lines.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales managers, brokers, and account executives to achieve targets.
  • Set clear performance metrics, KPIs, and commission structures.
  • Expand the client base through networking, partnerships, and market penetration initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.
  • Negotiate and finalize key accounts and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers, underwriters, and partners.
  • Ensure the brokerage’s portfolio is diversified and competitive.
  • Oversee renewals, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives to maximize client retention and revenue
  • Develop annual sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Track sales performance and ensure profitability across products and segments.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure smooth policy issuance, claims handling, and client servicing.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer focus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Insurance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a brokerage or insurance company.
  • Very Good English
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products (life, medical, motor, and general lines).
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and insurance market trends.
