Job Description
EgyBell is hiring an Internal Audit Manager for a well-known insurance company.
Direct, plan, and monitor the audit plan related to company activities and provide an assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness for the related governance, risk, and control processes.
Responsibilities:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Participate in building the detailed audit plans, related risk assessment and programs to cover the audit objectives included in the scope of the audits.
- Participate in update the audit methodology and programs.
- Support the external auditors, FRA auditors and other control authorities in their missions.
- Monitor the proper functioning and implementation of accounting controls within the company’s policies.
- Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of management of the assigned internal audit engagements, through the ongoing monitoring procedures, including the supervision, planning and performing the audit engagements, as well as approving the audit engagements’ diagnosis and related programs. Ensure communications of the audit engagements are properly and timely handled, including kick-off and exit meetings.
- Review and assist developing, maintaining, and updating the internal audit charter, policies and procedures.
- Ensure correct adoption of the organization’s policies and procedures in order to guarantee compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, as well as International Standards.
- Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Economics.
- Min 8-12 years of experience in Audit Operations, CIA certificate is preferable.
- Excellent English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and directing skills.
- Ability to use tact and diplomacy and maintain confidential information.
- Ability to manage and lead the Audit team.
