Job Description

We Are Hiring a Technical Director for a leading technology company in Tripoli, Libya

  • Proactively investigate technical solutions needed to address customer requirements, assess customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company.
  • Continuously interact with all relevant solution stakeholders, especially C-level customer contacts, to obtain their input and adapt solutions as necessary, ensuring their full support.
  • Drive the translation of customer needs and technical requirements into appropriate solutions by liaising with customers to understand, anticipate, and meet their specific needs.
  • Manage the relationship between the technical team, sales, and sales support to align company resources and third-party solutions with customers’ business requirements.
  • Work with the Sales team to meet assigned targets for revenue growth and profitability in the company’s product lines, market areas, channels, and teams.
  • Provide coaching and professional development to team members to enhance their product knowledge, technical expertise, and technical sales skills.
  • Perform price benchmarking, cost estimation, and modeling of various technologies for evaluation and decision-making.
  • Obtain relevant marketing intelligence for products and solutions ethically to improve and enhance user experience.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of leading-edge broadband products and services, as well as the technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses.
  • Build strategic alliances with technology vendors and developers.
  • Support Product Marketing in analyzing the product portfolio and market intelligence to identify enhancement and new product opportunities, and to develop customer retention strategies.
  • Represent the company’s products and services to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, and exhibitions.
  • Coordinate responses to bids from both functional and technical perspectives, ensuring that responses to RFIs/RFPs are of high quality.
  • Coordinate the activities of the Technical Solutions team and address technical inquiries regarding the company’s products and services for both existing and potential customers, ensuring total customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure continuous innovation in the company’s product and service portfolio to support business growth and maintain market leadership.

– Requirements :

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in the ICT industry.
  • At least 6 years of experience in technical sales and support or other customer-facing positions.
  • Minimum 4 years at a senior management level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Very good english level
